Amet is a city in Rajsamand district of the Indian state of Rajasthan. The city is famous for marble, granite and its cloth market. Nathdwara, Sadri, Rajsamand and Bali are some of the nearby cities from here.

Amet is historically significant and was earlier known as Ambapur. Veer Patta used to be the king of Amet who fought against Mughals. The city exhibits the true Rajasthani culture. Hindi and Rajasthani are the local languages spoken here. The city celebrates many events and festivals round the year. The festival of Rangpanchmi is celebrated here with a lot of enthusiasm.
